Coordinator, Strategic Initiatives

 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Planning & Reporting

  • Assist in establishing a CFO center for coordination of strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate the Senior Leadership Team in developing the CFO’s three-year Strategic and Annual Business plan, Strategic Risk Management Plan, and Board Governance Plan.
  • Support, Vice President - Strategy and Business Development, in coordinating the senior leadership team in defining annual priorities
  • Coordinate the reporting on initiatives including status reports

Stakeholder Management and Alignment

  • Support the coordination of activities and initiatives related to key external stakeholders
    • Related national organizations
    • Industry groups

Administration

  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage travel arrangements for projects and initiatives relating to this role

Qualifications

  • College Diploma, Business Administration or Undergraduate Degree is considered an asset
  • Recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) an asset
  • A minimum of five years’ experience
  • In-depth knowledge of business applications

Technical Skills

  • Ability to use standard technology tools – MS Windows, Office, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Web
  • Knowledge of and experience with project management methodologies and tools preferred
  • Experience and proven ability to work on multiple platforms, networks, technologies and digital ecosystems
