AGM Attracts Record Attendance

March 9, 2016 - Whether it was the topics at hand, the high profile speakers, or the sunny Spring-like weather, the 2016 Chicken Farmers of Ontario Annual General Meeting attracted the highest turnout in recent memory. In all, almost 450 farmers, processors, feed representatives, government officials and other stakeholders met on March 8 at the Meadowvale Hilton Hotel in Mississauga to learn about and discuss the issues, opportunities, and plans for the Ontario chicken industry. For the most part, all of the day’s presentations focused around the themes of growth, innovation, evolution, responsible leadership and the ongoing sustainability of the supply management system.
